"Give me sight beyond sight!"

When I was growing up in the 80’s, I couldnt wait to get home from school to watch my favorite cartoons.

Thundercats, Transformers, GI Joe, He-Man, Duck Tales, TMNT, Inspector Gadget, Voltron, Snorks, Smurfs, Richie Rich, Alvin & the Chipmunks, Danger Mouse!… you get my point.

In fact - if Thundercats was still running today, I’m man enough to admit that it would definately be a scheduled program on my Tivo.

But - alas, today is 2009, and none of these great cartoons are around anymore. And with kids of my own, I am kinda up-to-date with the shows that today’s TV offers for kids… Let me tell you - Thank G-d we grew up in the 80’s!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, Dora the Explorer, Diego, Hi-5, Barney, etc.

Just by comparing the lists you can see where this is heading.

Bring back our cartoons! Our future generations are at stake!
